What makes Avamere at Waterford special is its blend of residents. The atmosphere created by this variety is unique to the senior care industry and to other facilities in Medford. We have the ability to allow seniors that are entirely independent and those who need various levels of care to constantly interact, becoming friends and neighbors. This level of acceptance, friendliness and cooperation is truly wonderful and rarely attainable at other facilities.

We, here at Avamere at Waterford live out the Avamere Family of Companies mission, "to enhance the life of every person we serve" daily in every way we can. From remembering a resident's favorite beverage, to what time they like to rise in the morning, we make it a priority to learn as much as we can about each resident; their preferences, routines and even their family. This allows us to make residents as comfortable and happy as possible.

Personally, I grew up around the senior care industry. I was surrounded by elders when my grandparents offered Adult Foster Care in their own home and my entire family has worked in nursing and assisted-living since I was a child. Early on, I developed a love of interacting with elders that continues and grows every day as I build relationships with residents and staff at Avamere at Waterford.
